Never wanted to Take this Path... (CLSD - Zu+Iris)

Kavado sighed and held ‘her’ mother’s hand. For once he wished that he could be introduced as he was—a BOY. And not even a boy anymore, but a man. He was by far old enough, and even should Kashu find them, it wasn’t like he wouldn’t have ‘found out’ eventually… Still, he humored his mother. He supposed that they’d done the routine enough times that he shouldn’t expect anything else. Still, it would have been nice just the same…

The general in question smiled and bowed, signaling that they had all the appropriate paper work done to leave. According to his father’s orders, (a one former-general Beymond), Kavado and Avada were to be sent to someplace called the “moon base”. Apparently there were others of their kind here, Saiyans on this planet ‘Earth’. Both he and his mother had been very surprised by this fact, both for their own separate reasons: his mother was surprised because whoever the Saiyans were, they were a long ways away from where “home” should have been, and on Kavado’s side, he had never met anyone of his kind before. As far as he had ever known, his mother and he had been the soul survivors of their planet’s destruction. As it turned out, that seemed to be far from the case.

Upon their arrival on Earth they were quickly recognized as ‘hostiles’ and sent to the SOFS for questioning. Now that things were cleared up and the situation was understood, they were to moved to another faction of the base, where all of the Saiyans who had made it to earth were apparently sent. Or, most of them, at any rate. Kavado wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but he had to smile at the idea of being introduced to others of his species. His mother had enough pride for the both of him, but all he had ever known about their people were the words from her lips. It would be nice to find someone else quite like them—not that these ‘Armors’ didn’t seem similar, what with the tails and all, but apparently they were an entire species apart.

as the two 'new acquisitions' stepped off the sky rail with their escorts Kinto was there to greet them. he smiled, the loupes on his eye patch spun to give him a better look at them, he took a brief scan of their power levels and analyzed them completely in the brief moments the escorts left them and returned tot he rail. Kinto approached both the lovely women and bowed politely "welcome, my Name is Kinto, I am the general of this base and it is always an occasion when we find Saiyan survivors." he said warmly as he offered his hand to Avado and Kivado in a rather formal fashion.

Both Saiyans bowed at Kinto's presence as he introduced himself as the general of this base.

"I am Avada, and this is my daughter, Kavado." Avada said, taking Kinto's hand and giving it a firm shake. When the hand was outstretched in Kavado's direction, he blushed a little and quickly took it, obviously taken by surprise.

'Wow, this guy's so tall.' he thought, the figure before him looming and militant. Kavado knew that Saiyans prided themselves in their strength and abilities, they were a warrior race where even the women were fighters, but he had never 'shaken hands' before like some sort of 'equal'. It was... new.

Kavado knew that he was stronger than his mother, but he doubted that he was anything compared to this guy. He wanted to prove that he was tough and could pull his weight, but was unsure of what to say or do.

"What kind of occasion?" Kavado fumbled finally, hist tone something of indifferent and skeptical as he fiddled with the hem of the cloak around his shoulders meant to disguise the fact that he had no breasts. He wasn't trying to be particularly flip--actually, he wanted to make a good impression, but he didn't want to just stand there and say nothing.

"I'm thrilled to meet you both." Kinto said as he offered a smile to Kavado. he had a firm grip, which Kinto liked. he wasn't usually the sort to judge people based on just the way the shook hands but for whatever reason this Saiyan stuck out to him.

"well, as I'm sure you are aware, Saiyans are somewhat a 'rare' breed now, while we are trying to bounce back our numbers are still quite small and good stock is hard to come by." he explained briefly, he never really showed any intrest in either of his elite females, and it was possible he was only stydying this new girl out of curiosity and the excitement of something new. she wasn't like any woman he'd seen before and he was genuinely curious. "come, I'll introduce you to the other elites and show you to your rooms. if you are interested in being part of my team, our group trains daily and run monthly searches of the neighboring star systems to search for other Saiayns." he said as he then lead the pair to the gym where Jushi, Brock, Kyabet and Kales where training as per usual. Santes and the other two orphaned pups where still just sparring among each other off to the side, not ready to join the adults in their more advanced training just yet.

imminently Jushi shot a glare at the 'new girls' when she noticed the smile on Kinto's face, she could tell he was excited about them and she was genuinely pissed that she might have competition for Kinto's favor. as far as ANYONE was concerned, Kinto was HERS. " Kinto!" she chimed as she ran up to him and stood as close to his side as she could. " ah, Jushi, this is Kavado and Avada, the two new Saiyans I told you would be coming." he said as he motioned a hand to the newcomers. "pleasure... Kinto are you still going to train with us today?"

" As soon as I've got a moment, go back with the others." he told her as he made a shooing motion at her. the cross saiyaness simply huffed and walked away back to her 'sister' to train. "the brown haired Saiyaness over there is Brocka, to the left there you can see Kales in black and Kyabet in blue. the youngsters there where picked up by Jushi and she tends them herself, they are; Santes, Kyakis and Tepa." he said as he looked around briefly. "Ebons is usually here somewhere, but I don't see him today. hm" he pondered briefly where he might be but shrugged it off. he was far more excited about having two new Saiyans at the base then anything else.

Kavado and Avada both could seem to sense Jushi's unease at their presence. While Avada maintained her dignity and remained poised and indifferent, Kavado simply scowled, pursing his lips. He didn't know what she was so upset about, but she sure seemed like the clingy sort.

His eyes followed Kinto's gestures and he tried to keep up with the names and faces, but chances were he would have to be told again, at least once.

So including Kinto, it looked like there were... ten of them? Ten in total? Somehow it was both more an less than he had expected; more because they were practically an 'extinct' race, and less because a part of him had been sincerely wishing for a whole 'hidden village' that he could be inducted into like a long-lost family. Somehow Jushi's reaction to his very presence seemed to spit on that thought's grave.

Watching the others train though, Kavado couldn't help but want to join in and show off. He and his mother sparred often; it was a good way for her to keep in shape and, being a traditional Saiyaness, she firmly believed that her 'daughter' should know how to fight.

"You said that we could become a part of your team. What do we have to do to do that?" Kavado asked, turning to face Kinto, and his mother gave him a stern look suggesting that she didn't quite approve.

Kinto glared after Jushi for a moment, he wasn't sure why she had such an attitude. but her poor manners would get her nowhere with him. he turned then back to Kavado and folded his arms "All you need do is land three hits on me in a match. one to the face, one to the gut, and one to my back. you can do that and I concede to your skill and you are allowed into my ranks. this lets me know you are of similar or comparable skill to mine and gives me a good measure of your abilities so I know what to do with you in the field." he said casually "if you'd like to set up a match I'm free this afternoon, I have to show you to your quarters before I must run an errand and then I'm finished with my formalities for the day."

Land three hits? Well, on anyone else that might have sounded easy, but this Kinto guy seemed tough. Scary tough. Was he fast too, and was he just going to try and evade or would he hit back...?

"This afternoon then." Kavado said, locking gazes with Jushi. "I wont disappoint you." After all, if these four could do it, how hard could it be?

Kinto smiled wide, he liked that sort of spunk. "I surely hope not, I've had quite a good day and it would be a shame to be disappointed at the last minute." he laughed, mostly jesting but partly serious.
As he lead them out of the Gym and to two empty dorms across the hall from one another. "you can each have a separate room or share one, it's up to you but I give you the option to each have your own space." he said as he handed each of them their own key.

Avada took both keys and she handed one to Kavado.

"We'll keep in separate rooms, thank you."

Kavado took his key and shot one last look at Kinto, a confident light in his eyes.

"I'll see you this afternoon then, General."

Kinto nodded and gave a short bow before he turned to leave, his somewhat short cape fluttering a bit as he turned and quickly walked off.


all through his meeting he couldn't help feeling excited for his match, even Beymond was annoyed by the Saiyans disinterest in business . before leaving Kinto's younger Brother Xinto stopped him at the door. "what's got your mind fogged, brother, you've been acting rather distracted. have you possibly taken intrest in someone?" the younger Brother asked with a hint of mild concern.

"there are two new Saiyan Women at my station and I'm havign a match with one who's interested in my team this afternoon." Kinto replied with a smirk. "you know I don't take keen to anyone."

"really now? two new additions to your little harem? I swear Kinto for being the oldest and strongest of us all I would figure you'd have a mate by now and be making elite pups. especially the way that Jushi looks at you." Xino added playfully.

"Jushi is...nice. I suppose"

"are you attracted to these new girls? c'mon you can tell me that's what brothers are for."

Kinto gave a skeptical glare at his brother but shrugged. "the daughter seems to have spunk and I like her attitude." he said as he folded his arms.

"that's not what I asked."

"fuck it, fine, yeah I caught myself looking at her and liking what I saw, if that's what you would call 'attracted' then fine." he said with a hint of blush on his cheeks.

"HA FINALLY! my older brother might not die alone now!" Xino laughed. "I should like to watch your match and meet this lovely lady.

"FINE damnit... I'm headed there now for the match. tag along if you must." he grumbled. he hated being made fun of by his siblings.

he knocked on Kavado's door and crossed his arms behind his back, Xinto standing less formally beside him with both his hands in his pockets, unlike Kinto, Xinto was wearing a black T shirt, jeans and his Saiyan boots while Kinto was still decked out in his formal Armor.

When Kinto went his his own way Avada told her son that she didn't like the idea of him going out into space on Kinto's team; the man that they were both running from was powerful and determined to find them. So when Kinto returned (with yet another male at his side) later that afternoon, Kavado slipped out of his room, eager to sneak past his mother's room and begin their match.

"General." He said, doing a curtsey for both Kinto as well as Xinto.

Kinto bowed slightly to Kavado and motioned to Xinto "my Brother, Xinto."
the younger brother bowed politely and gave a skeptical glance. "come." Kinto said as he lead Kavado and Xinto to the Gym. Xinto walked behind both of them and eyed the 'woman' before him. this...did not strike him as a 'lovely lady' but Kinto seemed to be quite taken with 'her' and he supposed that whatever made his brother happy was fine. he shrugged slightly, he personally thought that Jushi was a prettier Saiyaness, she had nice breasts at any rate... Xinto wasn't particularly attracted to huge breasts though he assumed Kinto being the way he was would like a woman that had a more...standard? body. he had a sort of suspicion to his brothers orientation and a worry about his brothers mental state ever since he so violently threw Pinto to the gutter.

"Now then, remember, you have to land one hit to my face, one hit to my gut and one to my back." Kinto warned as he pulled off his cape and tossed it to Xinto. "I will be fighting back, and don't expect me to 'take it easy'"

Kavada wasn't an "ugly woman" by any means, but he definitely didn't have the round and busty curves of a real woman. He only had slender, effeminate features to disguise him, and the 'walk' of a woman which he had perfected to the very best of his capabilities. Essentially, he had never been 'found out' before, but it was easier to pass for a 'girl' when he was younger and had gotten harder and harder to disguise with time.

"Yes sir, General Kinto." Kavado said when they had reached the training room. He kept his shoulders cloaked with the 'hooded cape' that he always wore instead of pulling it off like Kinto. He COULDN'T take it off simply because, even with the padding that he currently had tucked into the chest area of his armor, it would have made his true gender quite obvious. Kavado bowed then, his palms touching, before he leaped immediately into the fray, coming at Kinto with his fists bared.

Kinto smirked devilishly as Kavado came at him he found himself distracted just for a second as he locked eyes with the other Saiyan and it nearly cost him that first face shot. he blocked quickly and grabbed Kavado's wrists he threw the shorter Saiyan back a bit

Xinto folded his arms and tilted his head. Kinto must be interested in this Saiyaness, he WAS 'going easy on her. he was sure of it. he rolled his eyes then and decided to give a little cheer section. "Come on Kavado, nut him!"

'Nut him?' Kavado thought, blinking. That brief instant of hesitation cost him, however, and Kinto landed a blow to his face.
Kavado let out a yelp of surprise at the hit but grit his teeth and shook his face, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

When Kinto threw right hook at him, Kavado feigned left, using his smaller figure to his advantage, and bounced off of Kinto's shoulders, flipping up and over his shoulder.

'Face, gut, back. Right. Hope that order doesn't matter'

powering up a ki-blast, as Kavado pushed off of Kinto he fired the blast square in the center of the other man's back and then landed on his feet, agile as a cat.
